While we recommend our ready-to-shave brushes, we understand your desire to set your own knot. Our knots bores are crafted to be used with knots that run true to size, with bores approximately ~1.5mm over the nominal knot size. For example, a “24 MM” handle has a knot bore of ~25.5mm diameter x 15mm deep

Beware of substandard knots on the market that run small, as they can lead to a less fulfilling shaving experience. A mere 1mm reduction equals around 10% fewer bristles!
