With its characteristic long white tips and thick middle band, HMW is prized for its excellent water retention, backbone, and extremely soft tips. There is no better natural hair knot! While the standard HMW knot is luxurious and dense, the High Density HMW is extremely dense, with about 25% more hair. Available only in 24mm.
The knot is professionally set at an optimal loft using marine-grade epoxy—secure, centered, and ready to shave right out of the box.
Care is simple: rinse thoroughly, shake out excess water, lightly towel the handle, and let dry bristles-down between uses.

This is my second bowl from this merchant. I bought the large size bowl as I tend to use larger shaving brushes like the Simpson Chubby 2 and Chubby3. The shaving bowl works really well in generating lots of lather because of the ridges that are there in the bottom on the bowl. My usual routine is to fill the bowl with hot water and soak the shaving brush I plan to use that morning. After about a couple of minutes, I empty the bowl and load the shaving brush with soap or cream. Once loaded, I whisk the brush in this bowl to get oodles of lather. Being made of resin it keeps the warmth from the hot water and is very light as well. The colors are so unusual, it looks great just standing on your bathroom countertop. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a shaving bowl.
