Our preorder brush builder allows you the ultimate in customization, for the pinnacle of a personalized shaving experience. You may choose the perfect combination of shape and knot type to fit your individual taste and lathering style.

All or our shaving brushes are handmade in limited batches by a master artisan. Our handles are impact resistant and waterproof, with proper care will last a very long time. Each handle is polished by hand to a durable, high gloss finish. The base of each handle is fitted with our custom makers logo coin. Pair it with a knot of your choice for a one of a kind, heirloom quality brush you’ll be proud to own.

Please note that all of the pictures shown in this listing are given as examples of this color scheme, so the actual brush you’ll receive has yet to be made and will have it’s own unique characteristics. The deliver by date reflects our current waitlist time. Purchasing this listing puts you in the queue for a custom order. This way you avoid having compete for the small amount of brushes we put up for general sale. Of course, you are free to request a cancelation and refund at any time prior to shipping, although you will lose you place in line.

***Knot Descriptions****

>(High Mountain White Badger) High Mountain White Badger comes only from badgers found in the high mountains of China. With its characteristic long white tips and thick middle band, HMW is prized for its excellent water retention, backbone, and extremely soft tips. There is no better natural hair knot! While the standard HMW knot is luxurious and dense, the High Density HMW is extremely dense, with about 25% more hair. Available only in 24mm.

>(Silvertip Badger) The silvertip badger is one of the most expensive and rare type of badger hair since it comes strictly from the neck and muzzle of the badger. The silvertip badger offers superior water retention and superb lathering capability. They the softness of the bristles make for a very comfortable experience. Our silvertip knots are unbleached with natural colored tips, that vary from grey to off-white. Those wanting the added luxury and “cushiony” feel should opt for the silvertip brush. While the standard Silvertip knot is luxurious and dense, the High Density Silvertip knot is extremely dense, with about 25% more hair.

>(Two Band Badger) If you are looking for good all around performer, then you should consider a two band brush. These knots are densely packed, with an improved quality and texture that is immediately noticeable. Most users notice a more balanced experience with this grade of brush, combining the scrubbiness of a pure badger brush with the softness and improved lathering of a silvertip brush.

>(Pure Badger) The pure badger brush is genuine high-grade badger hair for a comfortable lather every time. These knots are densely packed. The characteristically blunt edges of the pure badger hairs work doubly in your favor: They build an effective lather and exfoliate skin after raising the whiskers into a shavable stance.

>(Boar) These 100% Boar Hair knots offer the ultimate in “scritchiness” along with an unparalleled backbone. There is no better scrub than these knots!

>(Synthetic) The synthetic knots are a great choice for those who don’t like using natural animal hair, but still, want a great shave. They are very soft feel to the skin without the “scrubbiness” of badger knots. Unlike animal hair brushes, synthetics don’t require presoaking, dry very quickly, and there is no wild odor. The Timberwolf, Black & White, and Faux Badger knots all have a good density and moderate backbone when set at 15mm depth. The Brown and Beige knots are a bit more on the “floppy” side with the same soft feel. Extra backbone can be achieved by setting the knot deeper at the expense of loft, upon request.

> (Handle without knot) This handle is available a la carte for those wishing to use their own knot. If you chose this option, you will receive just a brush handle with no knot. All knot bored are bored ~1.5mm over the nominal size, for example a 24mm socket is ~25.5mm x 15mm deep. These bore dimensions work well with true to size knots, although some adjustment may be necessary. We do not warrant that this is compatible with any other suppliers knots, especially substandard knots that run small.
