At the edge of the House grounds lies a stretch of green water and shadow where the world slows its breathing. The Apothecary calls it the quiet mile—where every scent hangs in the humid air a moment longer, and even the trees seem to be listening. Down the Bayou captures that stillness and sets it against the sharp clarity of a fresh shave.

Built with a balanced alcohol and witch hazel base, this aftershave refreshes and tones without harshness. Aloe, glycerin, and botanical extracts help calm the skin, reduce irritation, and leave a smooth, comfortable finish with a light, refreshing feel.

The first splash carries a cool lift of elemi and green coriander, bright as morning sun breaking through cypress leaves. Warm ginger and black pepper stir beneath, quickening the pulse like footsteps on damp earth. Lavender drifts in soft and pale, a wildflower breeze off the water. Oakmoss, cedarwood, and patchouli settle deeper, grounding the fragrance with the loam and timber of the bayou floor.
